Baytown Area Senior Softball has provided quality recreational men's senior softball to the surrounding Baytown area for over 40 years. Wayne Gray Sports Complex is conveniently located 20 minutes from Downtown Houston, 15 minutes from the Clear Lake area, and 15 minutes from the Channelview area.

🚨WE NEED your SUPPORT!🚨The proposal for turf on our fields and additional parking at Wayne Gray Sports Complex is included in the upcoming bond election as PROPOSITION F. Those of you who play here know how often our games are postponed due to rainouts. We all know the difference upgrades would bring to the softball-playing community as a whole, not to mention the revenue the city could make. We would appreciate your support on November 4th!

Rain out info:
In the event of a rain out, an announcement will be posted on this website, on the BASS Facebook page, and coaches will text their players as soon as possible. The City of Baytown and BASS make every effort to keep in mind the safety of all who use the fields and those who drive in from outside of town.
SIGN-UP INFO:
- Eligibility: Men 50 and older (as of 12/31/2025 for spring league) and women 45 and older.
- Yearly registration fee = $80
- Players will be drafted by coaches at the start of each season to assure fair and balanced teams.
- BASS is a recreational softball league, so all skill levels are welcome to register.
